Orion Starshoot Solitaire

Hi all,

has anyone seen any pre-release reviews of this, the Orion Starshoot Solitaire?

http://www.optcorp.com/product.aspx?...ot%20solitaire

I do not think many IIS'ers use Atlas or Sirius mounts. I wonder if someone will sell a 3rd-party product that will interface between the SkyWatcher mounts and the Starshoot Solitaire. Cost is roughly US$600, which is a little bit more than a new eeePC.

cheers,
DJDD

Orion Atlas = SW EQ6
Orion Sirius = SW HEQ5

I'd have thought there must be a few of those spread amongst IIS members.

Yes, a user's review of the LVI would certainly be nice!

The Orion Sirius and Atlas mounts are exactly the same as the Skywatcher HEQ5 Pro and EQ6 Pro mounts just a different brand and colour.
