OMG that sort of discovery really does get my imagination running. I am fascinated by the search for extra-solar planets and what they might find. I've been reading and listening to alot of things regarding the Drake Equation and what the likely-hood is that we are just one of many life-forms, intelligent or not, inhabiting the galaxy.
Makes me want to squeal with excitement

Hey Rokketboy,

Yeah! It does kind of get that adrenalin going. By astro terms it is quite close. 20.5 L Yrs.

To put it in another context: Man went from 50 Klms/hr to 150 klms/hr in 50 years. In the next 50 he reached 30,000 k/h.

I wonder if it be a possibility to travel at such speeds one day to bring such places into range.
Perhaps a different dimension or some such thing. There's an awful lot we have to discover.
