NGC6302 Bug Nebula in NB
Hi Guys
Another little one, a work in progress, I hope to get more data on this, this poke is relatively light on exposure time.
HA:SII:Ha:OIII mapped as LRGB. Ha (3 nm) 150mins 10 min subs bin 1, OIII and SII 35 mins 5 min subs bin2.
PS processing changes a little on these small bright objects, getting them sharp is harder, but its easier to isolate them for curving.
Guiding is also harder, time for an AO8
.
As was pointed out, your as good as your last image, I hope to crawl back some credibility after the last couple
.

Excellent Fred, very pleasing colours
Wonder what that squashed gnat would look like in the middle of my 1.8deg X 1.2deg field

Yeh I'm just looking forward to getting out and merely standing next to my babies and talking nicely to them, they haven't had much attention lately
Looking at the weather predictions over the next week there ain't too much clear sky expected around here

Interesting object like the wide field and well done for such a dim small object

Fred, interesting and colourful! How far away is this object I Wonder? BTW if you are only as good as your last image then one day I am below average, the other day even worse - and on and on it goes! When will this rollercoaster end!

You've captured some excellent detail in that image.

Great shot Fred. I like the detail in that neb which is pretty small.
I am down at my dark site but for 2 nights the weather is no good and looking worse for the rest of Easter. That's how this game goes sometimes.
There's always the radio controlled planes!
Greg.

Yeah, very nice. Lovely colors and plenty of details. I've seen a couple of shot of this but this is definitely up there. Top work indeed.
