Saturn 19th April

ok I have tried saturn on several occasions, with out much luck with the celestron neximager......so I tried the Canon 40d prime focus and 2x barlow with eos_movrec software tonight, all on an 8" sct.....much better result...if only seeing was good.

Very good start! How are you processing the images?

Is your collimation ok? When's the last time you checked it?

Just looking at the smearing on top and right of Saturn, usually either due to collimation or something in your processing routine.

Collomation is slightly out......I just havent got round to adjusting it

I used registax to stack them.
