I would expect roughly the same percentage of our boys in blue hold Jedi as their religon. When I lived in Scotland I knew many members of the Strathclyde police. Some of them migrated to Australia and joined our forces.

In those days Billy Connolly (the big Yin) even had a comic strip named after him. He came down to our works to do a segment in a film that was shot around the Greenock area. I saw it on TV about 18 months later.

My Dad was from Glasgow. Came to Australia around 1908. Never went back. I visited once, back in 1979. Haven't been back either. Great place Aus.! Who's Billy Connolly?

I put down the same religion in the last census forms a few years before I left Edinburgh for here. The idea was that if enough people put down 'Jedi' they would have to declare it an official religion. It didn't work.

Can't remember the figures but I believe there were quite a few put Jedi down in the last Aus census. Had a look on the web site but it was lumped under "other", so no official recognition yet
I only use the force for picking dogs and horses on my occasional punting sessions, but maybe thats the dark side

No you are correct.... I was absolutely pickled.

The pint glass and lager tinny was my main subject of study during my first few years of Uni. No money left even for a haircut.

Hey
Before we get too far off the track the Scots gave us that other great frustrator "Goff" It was a great diversion for taking your frustrations out on a little ball of fluff instead of bludgeoning you neighbours.
