How do the prices compare to other suppliers?

They are about the same cost I eventually paid getting the 16IC and manual filter wheel directly from the States. Mabye $50 - $100 more expensive, but by the time postage is considered there isn't much between them. I sold my Atik a while ago and now I'm kicking myself. Ah well the cash came in handy.

Still think the Mallincam Hyper would suit me better. Keeping with the whole analogue thing.

Have been considering mono ccd and ATIK 314L looks promising because it uses SONY ICX 285AL chip, this chip has good review and is used by QHY2 Pro, SXV-H9 etc, you cannot control the temp on the 314L. Andrew's price looks good. However it appears not too many users here in AUS so I'm looking at other options.

Check out some of the QHY cameras at Theo's site. Both the QHY2 and QHY8 fall in between the price of the 314 L and E Atik models. Might be a good option?
