Thumbs up Rarely seen shuttle activities

A mate of mine emailed me this today. It's a 3MB file so I FTPd it at

http://www.multiweb.com.au/astro/Rar...Activities.pps

It's a PowerPoint presentation with slides depicting the process of assembling the space shuttle together prior to taxiing it to the launch pad.
I thought it was very interesting and did put everything into perspective as to the amount of work and planning required prior to each launch.

Hope you enjoy it too.

Great presentation, I enjoyed it

I'm one of the lucky members who's been there (as a tourist), didn't see a launch but I did see both shuttles on the launchpad at the same time, which is pretty rare.

G'Day,
That slide show was awesome I never give a thought about all that happens behind the scenes. Just great,Thanks for sharing it, next time I see the shuttle take off I'll think about this slide show.
Cheers

G'Day,
I agree it's a pity they didn't go all the way and show the lot,now that would be good to see.
