Portrait: Meagan

All,

I gave Meagan my black and white treatment.

The shot could have done with f/4 or f/5.6, but, was taken off the cuff. Still, I think they've turned out nicely.

5D Mark II and 50mm f/1.2L; 1/60s f/2.8 at 50.0mm iso100.

Comments, critique, etc., welcome.

A 5D MkII and a prime! Really, does it get much better than that? Well done Humayun, excellent work.

Doug,

Thanks, mate.

Yep, the combination is superb. I look forward to doing some widefields (both astrophotographic and terrestrial) with this setup.

Michael,

I think it could get a little better in the form of an 85mm f/1.2L or a 135mm f/2L. Hopefully in the near future.

In the high resolution original files I can see the clouds, the colour of the sky and my silhouette in the reflection of her eyes. Astounding.

Thanks, again.

Cheers, boys. I'm glad you three enjoyed the image(s).
