US Sky&Tel...May already?

I finished reading the April edition of the US Sky & Tel (just as April began) and got back to reading my book when another copy landed in the mail last night. At first I thought it must the the Ozzie version, but it was the US one. I looked on the cover and it is the May one....so I am two months ahead, I guess it will be a long time before the next one comes! They must be a big hurry to get them out.

Hey Mr. OneOfone (Trevor)

Years ago I subscribed to "Electronics Australia" as well as "Australian Electronics".

They began to get ahead of each other as you descrbed US S&T. The situation became so bad that I was recieving June issues in March and July's issue in April. .

After some years of this the publishers eventually back tracked the issues gradually and order was restored.

I don't see any reason for this occurring. It seems to throw things out of whack.

I would expect that one criteria to be used before printing the next issue of any monthly magazine should be "is the next month the same as the one we are about to publish?" If the answer is no, then it is not time to publish yet. Looking forward their Christmas issue...next week
