Hey, now thats exciting, nothing like a bit of competition to get them going.

I don't care who gets there again first, just spending money on this is far better than weapons etc.

Will be a very exciting period for manned space flights. C'mon Branson and co, where's the lunar hotel plans

A few years back the head of Russia's Energia announced their plans for mining Helium-3 on the moon, aiming for 2015.

I wonder if this is a genuine current motive for Russia, US etc.

Biting tongue, nope, here it is.... whoever get's a laser on the moon first could hold a check mate, half the time at least.
