SOLD - Add full goto to your EQ4, EQ5 or GP,SP Mount

If you own an EQ4, EQ5, GP or GP-DX mount and want to add full goto with a Meade Autostar then read on.

I have a set of Goto 4 All brackets available that are brand new and never been used.

I had 2 sets and planned on motorising my mount and a friends, but ended up getting a Skysensor for mine and did not use them.

I also have the DS 492 Motors Set needed and the 492 controller. This can be used for tracking etc.. but does not provide full goto. You need an Autostar 495 or 497 to provide full goto which you can get on ebay or astromart for about $100.

These brackets costs 150 EURO which translates to $240 AUD. The DS Motors will cost you $129 US ie $170 AUD. This totals AUD$410 without shipping costs and customs duty. I also have a brand new spare backup DS Motor.

I am selling the set plus spare DS motor for AUD$ 300

These goto 4 all sets work incredibly. Well. ask Paul Medcraft, an Ice in Space forum member. He used to use a set on his EQ5 for Astrophotography and was
able to get great images and very accurate Goto’s……

Hi Chris, I have what I thought was an EQ3 mount, but have since been told it is an EQ4. Would you have a look at the images and let me know if the drives will fit this mount. It currently has an RA stepper motor meant for an EQ3 attached.

Striker, have an eq5 which I want to upgrade in the near future to a gm-8 or similar. Would you be interested in it or not, in what timeframe did you want one.
