For those users who wish to run Stellarium under Mac OSX Leopard and control a Meade telescope. I have written an alternative telescope server.
It works for Stell 0.9.1 running under Rosetta (a Stell bug prevents the Intel build from controlling a telescope). I have used it successfully with a Meade ETX-80 and an LX-90. I expect that it will work with any LX emulating telescope as the commands are simple.
LIMITATIONS:- unlike the PC builds of TelescopeServer provided with Stell, the application does not indicate its progress on the Stell skyscape.

The file has the ungainly name of StellLXTSRB.zip, and contains the application, a manual, and a sample config file which you may choose to use if editing a config is distasteful to you.
USAGE:- the application does not require admin access, and can be run from your home folder's contents. For the interested party, source code is available via email from

LICENCE:- Freeware. No warranty. Be sensible and realise that a slew in daylight hours may cause your scope to point at the sun on its way to your destination.
WARNING:- Don't screw up your eyes or camera or scope with automated slews in daylight unless you take appropriate precautions against sun damage.
