here is an open cluster next to Sirius designated 41. One single shot at 51 seconds. Iso 800

nice, through the LX200? Reduced? If so the scope is well suited to the chip size, as it looks definitelyt "widefield".

Yea the shot is through the Lx200 just focally reduced. Nice little wide field, should take some more shots of it. There is another cluster near eta carina which would not mind getting also.

Nice widefield.. it would look really great with Sirius in the shot, and some string/fishing line tied across the front of your scope for some diffraction spikes.
