Black Tiger Snake

I passed two of these beauties on my walks in my week down South each was 3-4 feet long

This one had his head hidden in the grass

Took a wide berth though

Hi Trevor

Nice photo – you must have been close!

We’ve seen a few black snakes with a red belly (red bellied black snake) on our camping trips in SE Qld – are these from the same family?

Cheers

Dennis

I'd be taking a wide berth too.

Don't know much about snakes just best be on the safe side and consider all the little slithering buggers poisonous
