Two crescents in the west

Hi all,

There were nice clear skies when I arrived home at 5:30 this afternoon, so I got the scope out for a quick look at Venus. The view was so nice that I decided to try a hand-held afocal image, and after that I thought I'd have a go at capturing BOTH crescents that were visible this evening. The Moon was 6% illuminated, and Venus was 20% illuminated. Here's the result... hope you like it!

Cheers,
Stephen

I saw that great site last night as my partner called me out, but didn't have time to set up the camera. I'll be ready tonight.

Well done, a great shot(s).
