M83 GSO-12 2nd try

Hi,

Nice crisp night tonight...I am still imaging, making the most
of the still air.

This time I was able to get the 2nd tiny galaxy in frame
although to include it in this crop it meant leaving the
stacking artifact (the darker left hand edge) visible.

I have M104, NGC 5128 and Lulin still to process!

Sleep first!

Steve

Hi Steve

You have recorded some lovely detail in the arms of this galaxy, revealing the intricate dust lanes and knots of stars. I’m amazed at what you have been able to produce with these short exposures – well done!

Now go get some sleep!

Cheers

Dennis

Agreed. The mottling in the arms are astounding for such incredibly short exposures! I can only hope to achieve something like this tonight during the first light of my ST-9E,

Very good job, I look forward to seeing more from the night!

Alex.
