Been a while... Queensland Raceway Street Drift Meet.

Its sure been a while since I posted pics.. Anyways..

I took my camera for a trip to Queensland Raceway for the Street Drift open day, as a few of my friends were out in their cars, and its a good excuse for a bbq and some happy snaps..

There are many more shots, but these 3 are my favorites, they arent the best shots of them all, however the white S14 200SX was driven by a good mate of mine, as was the orange S13 Silvia..

These shots were taken on a straight stretch of track right before turn 4 of QR's short track..

Details.
Canon 1Dmk3
300 F/2.8 @ F6.3 (probably should have had it at F/8~F/11 to get a better feeling for the speed of the cars etc..)

Cheers for looking.
Alex.

Alex,

Fantastic!

A gun-metal grey Spec R GT S15 Silvia/200SX is the car of my dreams.

Regards,
Humayun

hehe... My favorite saying, S series for street, R series for race.....

I'd love an S15, but a 1994 R32 GTS-M is the one for me.. The SR20DET is a nice motor, but for reliability, and overall performance, the RB25DET is generally stronger all round... and when you're working with an R series, You've got an RB platform right out of the box, and then its just $5k to move to a RB26DETT An RB26DETT putting all its power to the rear wheels is very impressive

Thanks H,

Alex

I find myself forgetting to take photos half the time! Its just so much fun to watch if there's some good cars/drivers on the track... Definitely worth checking out Ben.. Im sure you could come out of QR with some RIPPER shots judging by your motorcycle images..

Alex.
