Moon-Planets Conjunction 230209

Hi all. Got a wonderfully colourful view of the Moon, Mercury and Jupiter conjunction from Brighton Marina, Victoria this morning. Clouds, which earlier threatened to obscure the event, cleared in time to add a lot of extra interest to the view over the yachts. Sunrise colours also had to be seen to be fully appreciated (intensity of the colours most likely attributed to bushfire smoke to the east of Melbourne). Good reward for getting out at 5am! Russ

Thank you everyone for positive comments. It was a colourful event and I was pleased with the results. Clouded out in Melbourne last night so no chance to see Titan transit or development of the planetary conjunctions . Russ.
