golden headed cisticola

these would have to be my fave birds i recon.
they are about finch size (but more slender) and put on such a great show.

Its not that they dont like shipping little birds in an envelope its just when they have to go through the franking machine they peg up.

The first one is frozen in the moment and the lighting is such that you
would think he is in a museum display case and that you must be only
inches away.

the truth is a little different tho gary. i was around 3 meters away and i had to use the flash because he was back lit
