New guy on the block

Hello, I'm Grich. Astronomy Enthusiast and general space lover.
A bit about myself: I have been doing astronomy on and off since 1997 when I got my first and only telescope for my 11th Birthday (a two inch newtonian - nothing special). I didn't start getting back into it seriously until recently.
I mostly like to observe Double and Multiple star systems, open and globular clusters and planetary observation. In the last week or so I have been using a modified webcam in my telescope for moon observations (the weather has been bad so I have had only two oppurtunities to test the equipment).
I need to get a new telescope as I have recently felt the urge for more power. Any suggestions? I was thinking about another newtonian or something for astrophotography, but I'm open to suggestions right now.

Hey Grich if your serious about observational astronomy look for the dob mounted scopes 8' 10' or 12' depends on how much coin your willing to part with ...
The dobs wont let you take dso objects cause they dont track and if your gunna get serious into astrophotograpy then wait for the astrophotographers to answer those questions for ya.
Cheers Kev.
