I have for sale a QHY8 OSC CCD... I've recently acquired an SBIG camera, and after some initial tests I'm very happy with the SBIG, and now, the QHY8 is surpluss to my requirements.
Basic Info:
6.1 mega pixel Sony CCD array.
Dual stage TEC cooling.
1.8" (~28mm diagonal) Sensor.
7.8 micron square pixels.
This is a fantastic camera, and has served me very well in the short time I've had it, although with my tastes really being set on long focal length imaging with a narrow field of view, this camera is not exactly suitable..
I've attached some of my images taken with this camera. and will get pictures of the camera in the next few hours.
The camera comes with both the Clear optical window, and the UV/IR blocking window..
It will also come with a QHY8 to Canon EOS lens adapter, suitable for use with Canon EF-S and EF lenses (IE. QHY8 + Canon EF 200mm F/2.8L
)
Comes with all cables required for running the camera, power adapters etc. camera has been religiously stored in an airtight plastic container with lots of silica dessicant satchels etc to keep it nice and dry...
New the camera costs $2450 + postage costs..
I'm willing to let this camera go for $1700 plus postage..
Its a slightly regretful sale, as I do really love the camera, its simplicity and ease of use to capture stunning images is very hard to match...
