Oh no, More metalic green Fly's

Here's some more of my macro work. These are the smaller bread of metallic green fly that are very very common in New South Wales. I have spent allot of time on these little guys in an attempt to resolve the segmented eyeballs, so far no luck at all.

Olympus E-300, 14-45mm lens, Hoya 67mm closeup filter set.

Isn't he cute

You're going to need quite a bit more resolution to pick out the ommatidia. I'd suggest using a 75 to 250mm lens
