Moon Feb 8

After struggling through a few hours of trying to learn drift alignment, i finally realized that the moon was right next to my target (M42). Darn-it. So here it is. I'm still struggling to get a good shot of the moon, the white areas are burning in a bit. any suggestions?

Olympus E-300, 8" Newt, Prime focus.
