Astro presentation at Bendigo Discovery Science & Technology Centre
Hi All,
On the evening of Saturday August 15th, I have been invited to give a presentation at the Bendigo Discovery Science & Technology Centre.
My presentation will involve a talk on how anyone, regardless of age or scholastic ability can become involved in astronomy, based on my own journey through this most rewarding and stimulating field of endeavor.
Following my talk I will be showing a DVD I have created from the stills of my trip to observe with the 10 metre Keck Telescopes at 14,000ft on the summit of Mauna Kea on The Big Island of Hawaii. This is titled "From Broken Hill to The Keck's" the slides all pan and zoom and have embedded titles accompanied by some suitable background music.
