Problem Guiding and DEC control

Hi all
I have been using Stellarium ,PHD Guiding and Ascom interface for my control of my EQ6 for a little while. Everything was going alright with good guiding.
Last night was no exception until all of a sudden I lost the DEC control on PHD (no clouds clear skies).RA was still trying to stay in control. Put EQ6 into manual and checked handpiece on synscan and used DEC and RA to control ,all was working there ok
Tried again after rebooting computer and installing programs, with same result,RA trying to guide but DEC not happening. Have inclosed screen shots of setups (tried a few different things with same result) any ideas guys?

I don't know anything about the EQ-6 but have you checked your cables to make sure they are seated properly, just a thought......

Cheers

Iv'e had this happen a few times when the scope stops responding in Dec. In my case nothing would make the scope move in DEc so it couldn't calibrate.
I never found a 100% cause but I think it is a poor connection in the guider socket on the mount. I have fiddled with the plug and it seems ok. The cable is fine but I wonder about the plug.
