Reluctantly I am offering my Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC MACRO for sale. It's a couple, of years old and in mint condition. It has always been protected with a Hoya UV filter. These lenses are excellent performers, my only reason for sale is that I am going full frame and this lens will not work on the 5D.

Zooms generally aren't preferred for Atsrophotography, I haven't used this lens for Astro use, but that said they do perform quite well. There's a macro shot taken here and a landscape shot here.
