From a 1st Birthday Party

All,

I shot a 1st birthday party, on Sunday, for this little girl Victoria.

Thought I'd post a couple of images that I liked whilst sorting through and processing the 300-odd images.

Both shot with the 5D Mark II and 24-105L.

Slightly larger resolution found here.

Comments and critique welcome.

Regards,
Humayun

Mike and Kerrie,

Thank you. I'm glad you both enjoyed the images.

Mike, I do have a massive backlog of images to get through. There's at least 3 or 4 thousand. Lots of doubles and triples, thanks to continuous shooting.

Kerrie, thank you so much for that lovely compliment. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing something wrong due to the lack of replies (comments or critique) my images generate.

Regards,
Humayun

Nice photos Humayun, kids birthday partys have to provide some of the best photo opportunities.

I remember my godson's 1st when he stuck his head into a big bowl of jelly. It made for a wonderful picture but I'm not sure if anyone got it though.

Cheers

Beautiful natural skin tones and nicely framed Humayan. Kids can be both frustrating and extremely rewarding to photograph.
