M78 nebula area

Heres 75 mins on M78 @f3.6.
15x5 mins ISO400. LPS filter, MPCC coma corrector on Meade 6 inch F3.6 SN. Modded 350D. Shot on another clear but warm night.

Your image shows the dark nebs really well Scott. This is a very dim target.

Nicely done Scott. The dark areas are extremely hard to get to stand out. The neb looks very nice.

nice & smooth

shame about the bit of distortion on the left side/corners .. I'd probably crop it off it were mine.. but it is nice having the star field fully surrounding, so debatable
