C/2007 N3 Lulin - 28/1/09

I thought I would try and capture this comet in the early morning. Started imaging at 4:30am.

Was cut short by the morning twilight so I am looking to have another go at this comet.

Anyway, this image is made up of 12 x 3 minute subs stacked in DSS. Its tail is easily visible at 11 o'clock.

Quite happy with it.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Mike.

Looking forward to it.

I'm gonna have another go at it again this morning. Hopefully capturing more subs.

Nice job Matty,

Just wondered what your estimate was of it's brightness?

Will be interesting to see how this comet performs as time goes on.

Regards
Trevor

Hi Matt,

Well done, I have never imagined a comet, looks like you have mastered the technique.

Thanks for sharing this image with us.
