m42 et al

Trans: 7
Seeing: 2

Had another go at m42 tonight, but at a reduced exposure, in this case .05 seconds. Amazingly, still detail.

Also had a look at 7 sisters and other objects around sirius (m41,m46,m47). Watched saturn rise, but was very turbulent so close to the horizon. Happy to observe it properly for the first time at around 100X.

Jumped back and forth around tarantula, this is such a great area!

Tried for M33, right area, but could not see it!

A lovely night.

Also have sorted out the dec / az motor setup, so will attempt to build that tonight, also the couplers for the focusser arive today from jaycar hopefully, so will have that going tonight as well.
