Smile Silent Running

While we're on the subject of what's on telly.
Silent Running is on this Wednesday night on ABC1 at 11.55pm.
Haven't seen this one for years.
I only hope it holds up well.

know that one well, JJJ.
Have it on dvd and watched it again just a couple of months back and yes, in my opinion it still holds up very well indeed.
ABC is certainly spoiling us this week.

Brilliant movie! Who could forget the Huey, Duey and Louie agro-bots!
Thanks Jeanette, I must check out what else the ABC is screening this week.

NEW Doctor Who next Sunday night too, according to an add just before Dr Strangelove last night.

One of the best space ship designs ever. I have it on DVD and watch it regularly. The model of the ship was wrecked after the movie it was 26 foot long

Ahh! Spaceship designs Trevor. Got about 40 unbuilt ones here and struggling to find room for them on my travels. Can't bear to part with them, been collecting for 20 years and intend to build them all (one day).
All the Enterprises from 1701 to E, DS9, Voyager, Babylon 5, and too many others to list. Always wanted one of Andromeda, but don't think it was ever produced. Might have to make it from scratch. The Silent Running one would be a real challenge, have to keep it in mind.

Live Long and Prosper

Ah yes - the "Valley Forge". One of the great spaceship designs.

Check this blokes' gallery out - he's a 2 & 3D renderer and spaceship artist:

I missed it.
The blasted reception went crook and as I can't "do" ladders any more I couldn't climb onto the roof and adjust the aerial myself, the husband was asleep and couldn't be woken.
Woe is me.
Did everyone enjoy it?
