Well apart from it being 43 degrees at 1pm today here in perth, the clouds are at bay and the wind is okay, i think i might have a bit of observing, hopefully iron out some kinks to go out on saturday night (weather permitting.!)
I hate it when the cirus starts to float through. Stars flicker in and out tantalisingly. May as well be nice thick clouds and put us out of our misery.
I think JJJ has the right idea - where's that Orion mosiac data I never seem to get around to......
I have been sitting on the veranda enjoying a few of beers for the last couple of hours, lots of satellites a and one small meteor before the clouds finally closed completely in
Except for being a bit warm, it is quite a nice night.
Sitting outside 8:25pm in Perth hot day but no to bad now just waiting for it to get dark enough to set focus and PHD guiding, going to get ngc2477 right tonight all going well and then might try for 2070 which i haven't done before. Must be tonight as going out tommorow.
