Bitterly Cold!

Wow, what a shock!

We (my family and I) are in the process of moving from Sydney to Connecticut in the USA. We made it safely to Connecticut on Sunday...gee whiz it is far.

Anyway, last week we were enjoying a dip in the Pacific just North of Sydney and now we are experincing sub zero weather!!!

The low tonight/tomorrow morning is suppossed to be 1 degree F...not sure what that is C.

My children are in shock (and awe having spent the last 7 years in Australia) have said "Dad, this new job better be good"...

Hope all is well "down under"...

Cheers,

Hmmmm ! - shades of the UK.

Cold weather like that very quickly becomes very little fun imo. Keep your chin up Scott, as with those temps, there's little chance you'll be keeping your pecker up

Cheers,

Hi Scott, glad you made it safely to connecticut.

Just tonight on the news they showed some major snow storms in the US causing a lot of trouble. Hope all is well with you in that regard.

Well as I post this it's nearly midnight in NZ. I've just been out in barefeet, shorts and T shirt checking out the stars.
So it's just same old same old down south here

Cheers

Gary

Scott, have just been in Seoul, now Japan. In Seoul morning temps in the car were about -12 to -8, everything there is freeze dried (including the food)
Not a star visible in the sky, light pollution everywhere

Not quite, the formula for calculating the conversion is (degrees F-32) x 5/9, that makes 1 degree farenheight -17.2 degrees C. I can't even imagine a temperature that cold...

You should have stayed in Oz.....

I know the formula Phil....I just made a guess at the temp based on a rough approximation of the scales. Either way, it's cold!!!
