Thumbs up Up and running again M42 quicky!

Hi Folks,
Well as most of you might know, we had a lightning strike up at home a few weeks ago which caused some havoc with some household gear and my little observatory. Luckily the damage wasn`t as bad as I first thought with only the Digital drive being damaged, shoestring DBUSB dead and a cable that needed to be re-crimped. Many thanks to Peter for the quick repair to the Digital Drive and the guys at Shoestring Astronomy for a super fast delivery! 6 days from ordering it was here.. .
Thanks also to Fahim who lent me his old spare Digital drive incase I got stuck with a lenghty repair time...
Here is a quick shot of good ol M42 with a nearly full moon.
Just 26 x 10 sec and 26 x 45 sec at iso 800 and a quick process gave me this image.. Not very deep but I find it pleasing and everything is working as it should...
Shall do some deeper shots tonight before the moon gets too high.
cheers and thanks everyone..
Gary

Thanks guys!
Great to be up and running! I missed 3 perfect cloud free and moon free nights when it happened but so glad that the total repair bill was under $300.
Managed a good hour last night before the moon got too high and the seeing was excellent!

More tonight with luck..
cheers Gary

Nice work Gary. Not sure about the drop off of nebulosity however. Perhaps the outer regions could be stretched a little more. Rich colours look good. Well done.
