Witchhead nebula

Hi,

last week I took a pic of the witch, IC 2118.
It`s a difficult object, because the distance to the horizon is small.

I used the Canon 350d mod. and the Canon EF 200. 6x600s with ISO 800:

It was so damned cold, 3.2 F !!! (manual tracking control )

Nice shot!!!....the cold has served you well. Hardly any noise in that shot.

Oh...BTW, have you managed to chip your eyepiece away from your eye

This object is one of my favorites. It looks so spooky. So I tried everything to catch it.
And now I will try to make a pic with the Pentax75.
