50mm square gasket to pack Astronomik filters

Astronomik filters are great. One drawback - they are only about 1mm thick and most filter wheels seem designed to accept 3mm thick filters.

The 50mm round filters are supplied with an Oring gasket to pack out the filter so the normal screw and washer setup of filter wheels has something to engage on.

However I have a 50mm square filter wheel and Astronomik only just recently got some rubber 50mm square packers.

But heres the thing - he wants about AUD$100 for them?? whaaaaaa???

Anyone know where you can get a 50mm rubber or similar square about 2mm thick to act as a packer for the filters? It is quite a problem if you want to use Astronomik filters.

Do you have Clarke Rubber chain stores. You could get some in the thickness you want and cut them to shape/size.
