Something wicked this way comes?

I am sure most of you are well aware by now of the region of mega-activity now on the suns limb (especially via spaceweather.com) - now coming into view and will soon be pointing our way! this is a very interesting development indeed - this region has been coughing out some pretty amazing plasma furballs since it stunned us with the auroral activity in late sept. - an X-17!!! and an X-11 most recently - it could just fizzle out - but i dont know? looks like it has legs - pity the moon will interfere maybe, but if activity is vigorous enuff - the moon wont matter, i have seen strong displays in bright moonlight before.

"NOAA ISSUES SPACE WEATHER WARNING;
POWERFUL SOLAR FLARE ERUPTS
KATRINA COMMUNICATIONS MAY HAVE BEEN AFFECTED
Forecasters at the NOAA Space Environment Center in Boulder, Colo., Wednesday observed one of the largest solar flares on record at 1:40 p.m. EDT. The forecasters are predicting significant solar eruptions in the coming days. Agencies impacted by space weather storms may experience disruptions over the next two weeks. These include spacecraft operations, electric power systems, high frequency communications and low-frequency navigation systems."
