Horsehead with the modded 40D.

My first proper image after the guiding problems.
Will need to do more subs tonight and had to crop the image because the flats were stuffed.

Taken with the modded Canon 40D, iso800, 15* 10 minutes lights, 2* 10 minutes darks, 14* bias, on the ED80.

All tips and comments welcome.

Thank you Anthony and Doug.

Who do you think Doug
Me afcourse, no amateur touches my camera for opening
Here another pic but more processing done to it.
Will need to make more exposures to get a better result.

Martin the first one is way better. 2nd one is over processed to hell.
If you must reprocess try a little less brightness on the first image.

That second image is just there to show what you can get with many and long exposures Doug
There is soo much more neb above the Horsehead and it needs many pics to get that right.
PS: Still have to do those flats but this time in raw.
