Sea trials

Well....a tidal estuary at least.
These two boats my father built.
We gave them their first run yesterday in sea water
and a photo opportunity of their first run, side by side.
Based loosely on the Fremantle class of Australian Patrol Boat,
they are the Bendigo and Geelong, boats 211 and 215.

They have working guns and a radar dish that rotates

Even Popeye the Sailor man went for his first ski.

Skiier Version1 was Andy Capp, John/Doug

But nobody these days knows who Popeye and Andy Capp are!

If you get him to jump the wake at just the right spot he dives
underwater and sometimes the fishing line doesn't break and the
resurfacing is hilarious
