Two Darkies

Hi All,
Two recient images of dark objects.

Left is Herbig-Haro 47 in front of a Bok globule in Vela

Right is a familiar one.

12" f5.5 2x30min L -darks & bias, combined as average and cropped.

Both the same treatment and scale.

interesting comparison Jeff, is there a "jet" or nebula . not sure how you process to set up the images to upload to IIS, but it is a little pixelated with jpeg compression, could you repost a higher res jpeg (you can get up to 200k). i take it Herbig-Haro 47 is that streaky jet like structure on the right in the first plate? i have never seen this before, but i appreciate the work involved in getting it!!
