First M42 - processed by Jase

Here's my first attempt at M42.

Taken with an unmodded Canon 350D and Vixen ED81S APO.
Approx. 55mins of data @ ISO800.

Thanks to Jase for his assistance with processing and all in all quite happy considering the relatively small amount of data.

An excellent image – top marks for acquirer and processor!

I particularly like how the nebula integrates smoothly and seamlessly into the background, rather than giving the appearance they were processed separately and then “dropped in”. Notwithstanding your set up and capture skills, I wish I had Jase’s processing skills!
