So many posts.

After a break from computers for a while it was time for me to get back on here and see what you all have been up to. I don't think one realizes how much info is on this site until you come back after a gap of a week or so. Such a broad range of talent from all members of IceInSpace in lots of areas to cater for all types of info. You can see why the membership is growing, due to the content of the forums. I'll try not to stay away for so long next time, so much reading to do.. Pat on the back to you all.

Guys with wives and 2.3 kids: Is there anything good about having a family? With very few exceptions, all you seem to do is whinge about it : there is no time to observe, no money to spare on astro gear, or gotta spend double retail on astro gear because the wife needs to be bribed, and so on... plus those screaming kids ... Sounds like a real nightmare to me.

true, so true, but with those unbelievably low moments, there are those high ones.

as i am writing this, my two year old and 5 yr old are playing dress ups and jumping around playing so nicely together. putting on little impromptu shows without that embarassment factor. they look at you for acknowledgement of something they have just done and with a return smile, there little faces explode in joy and your heart bursts with emotion and your eyes moisten up with pride!

you take a deep breath and think how wonderful it is!!!

then the two year old pulls the older one's hair and it is on for young and old..

your wife wakes up from all the screaming on what is her sleep in morning looking like the devil herself!

you shrivel up into a protective and very defensive position / shell and wait for it......

"how is it that the kids are still their pj's at 10am and that the kitchen is a mess and none of the jobs are crossed off on the list i wrote for you last night whilst you were off stargazing with your new mates that see more of you than we do......"

when you are single, steady state, equilibrium comes to mind.

throw my three loveley ladies into that mix and bang!

and only one of them has PMT, I may be looking for a place to stay in 8 years time.
