Melbourne Skyline Smiley

Hi All. A fantastic conjunction on the 1st Dec. These were taken using the Yarra River and Melbourne skyline to add creative interest. A beautiful night with a festive feel to it as there were lots of people out taking photos, mainly hand held and some using phone cameras. These were taken on a tripod!

Fantastic shots Russ!

The first two are bloody corkers mate

I recon a slightly bluer version of the first would be just stunning, bit of PS perhaps..?

I like the second as it really recalls the sight with the sky colours.

Many thanks

Thanks everyone for your very encouraging comments. Really nice. Events like these challenge the creative mind - a rare and lovely celestrial event, how best to place it into the context of what's happening down here on Mother Earth. Thanks again. Russ.
