Hi All,
We have had some clear nights here (not the norm for summer) so put the ED80 to work on this years fantastic DS objects, and got a good one of M42 (I must have imaged this object hunderds of times over the years) theres always that urge to get a better shot than one already has, and then on to ngc2070 down south, good image but seems I lost a bit of focus somehow, also there is about a 1/4 moon shining now and this dosent help with nebula.
M42- 6 x 6 Min Exp. DF removed
ngc2070- 5 x 6 Min. Exp. DF removed (cropped)
ngc-2024 + IC434- 6 x 6Min. Exp. DF removed
All images with ED80 @ F 7.5, guided on an LX200-10"
Camera- EOS300D (modded) @ ISO 800
cheers......Jim

Reason: additional info
Very nice set of pictures. Excellent focus and tracking. I like Orion best. Very vibrant colors and details. That's an excellent shot of it. Well done.
