After an awful imaging session last night, I found out my LX modified Toucam's shutter signal was disconnected (that would explain why I couldn't see anything!). A solder blob later and it was back in action for tonight's smiley - at multiple magnifications, hence the thread title
Image 1: Smiley - Canon Powershot G2 on tripod, maximum zoom, ~1 second exposure.
Image 2: Moon - Same camera, held by hand behind 32mm eyepiece on my 8" Newt.
Image 3: Moon - Toucam at prime focus.
Image 4: Moon - Toucam with GSO 2x Barlow
Image 5: Jupiter - Toucam with TV 3x Barlow with gutted GSO 2x tube for extension.
Image 6: Venus - Toucam with GSO 2x Barlow.
This was my first experience tackling the moon seriously with the Toucam and performing image processing (stacking, deconvolution / wavelet-processing) on something other than Jupiter, so I'm fairly happy with the results considering it's just a webcam!
