NGC 253 best of both Worlds

As a final offering on this amazing galaxy and for the best of both Worlds I blended Steve Juchnowski's NGC 253 with my NGC 253 in a straight 50/50 blend (nothing else) and the result is surprisingly good I think? The two images complement each other pretty well each giving the other what was missing from each and the large scale combined result is rather... in ya face and imposing?

With Steve's blessings of course, here it is:

Hope you like it?

Mike

WHAT are you doing Mike, your NGC253 is just as good if not better, why bother . If you just must top the last one, do it yourself .

Imagine the detail, if you went narrow field, took 5 sets of subs, and made a rather insanely large mosaic of the area... I think it would go down a treat provided your seeing could handle the focal length!

That said, its a very nice combination of two very nice images..

Looks rather nice Mike! combo of two nice 253`s there!

I think the foul weather must be getting a bit to us all lately as we look for other ways to keep in practice!

Ah yes a long focal lengeth mozaic of NGC 253 huh? be good to see done from a site with excellent seeing, could be quite spectacular.

As far as having weather and no backyard induced cabin feaver goes, I must have the whole dam bunk house!

Glad a few of ya liked this collaborative effort, just done for fun
