I've been trying to push the limits of Toucam imaging with my 8" f/6 Newtonian. During the smiley conjunction a few days ago, I took a few prime-focus narrow-angle shots of the moon, aligned and stacked them to produce 6 different overlapping views (click
here to see one of them). I got bored and decided to feed these to the awesome
Autostitch program to produce a wide-angle image, not expecting much.
Instead I'm somewhat thrilled with the result given it was all done on a simple webcam! Enjoy.
