Help - What's wrong with my Equinox 100

Hi all,

Decided to do some imaging through my new Equinox 100 (f9). From initial views through the eyepiece, the stars were absolute pinpoints, and the Airy rings seem concentric. However, when I looked at my first image of M45 (300sec), on the brighter stars there is a funnel shaped halo. Following on from this, I changed the camera to the ED80 and the shot was fine! I also had a look at a shot I did the other night on M42 (60sec), and the same thing was there on the brighter stars. Later on in the night, I put the camera back into the Equinox 100 and tried a couple of test shots on Omega Centauri (300sec) and Centaurus A (600sec), and the images didn’t look too bad.

Anyone have any idea of what is wrong? Help?
