4 inch Refractor Optical Tube assembly only, featuring:

1. 102mm clear aperture
2. 1270mm focal length
3. Objective lens achromatic doublet air spaced manufactured by Vixen Japan
4. Tube threaded and squared (lathe) by Astronomy Alive
5. Skywatcher 2 inch rack & pinion focuser with 1.25 inch adaptor
6. Skywatcher 4 inch lens cell with collimation push/ pull screw adjustment

The lens for this telescope was supplied by Vixen, Japan. It is a Fraunhofer crown & flint doublet and is the usual quality that you expect from a premium Japanese supplier

The telescope pulls 350 mag without trouble, as all quality achromats do, however this is NOT comparable with Chinese refractors as it is a significantly higher quality optic

This unit has just been re priced to sell at $ 250, this is exceptional value as the lens cost twice this alone
