Believe it or Not

My new scope arrived today, a SW 120mm F5 refractor.
And it isn't raining, it isn't windy, it isn't even cloudy.
Unbelievable.
The perfect first light!
I even put an eyepiece into the bit where the camera goes, and had a look at M42.

Congrats on the new scope JJJ.
Which particular set of Gods did you sacrifice to in order to get the good viewing conditions?

New scope ... no cloud?? I'd check the scope carefully. It's obviously faulty in some way. Hope you enjoy it anyway.

Well, it does need a new focuser.
I wanted to order a 10:1 micro focuser at the same time as I ordered the scope, but they were out of stock.
I've got to put up with a clunky R&P for now.

Ah ha!! There we go everyone. Disguise your Feathertouch or Moonlight as a plastic R&P and ... voila! clear skies. Too easy.
